Malaria remains rife throughout DRC. You will also need a Yellow Fever Vaccination. Check with your GP before leaving and find out what precautions you should be taking. Avoid taking photos in public places – especially of the river, government buildings and the airport. Do not walk around at night and it is best to take advice from the locals with regards to personal safety.
